Returning Storms

I haven’t had the possibility of writing for the past few days as I have been in the rainforest of Borneo. What an experience!

So you might think I am going to be posting those photographs now but… patience.

No, I am currently seated in Shanghai Pudong Airport waiting to catch yet another plane, so the photographs of creepy crawlies and jungle vistas will have to wait. I am now off to the Philippines for a much deserved holiday. After all Borneo was work. Don’t you love that? I had to go to the rainforest, in Borneo, for work. It is such a hard life being a teacher.

It’s a long steep road,
With dark, fierce storms to weather
Yet he takes a step.

About Maitiu

I am a collection of aspects. A father, a husband, an uncle, a son, a teacher, an aspiring writer, an amateur photographer, a poor guitar player, a slightly better singer... Online however I am a 365er looking to find out what people make of my personal poetic musings and my photographs. Drop a penny in an old man's hat and let me know what you think...
